FAST renewals now available online

TORONTO — U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced that it is accepting applications for driver FAST replacement cards over the Internet. All FAST cards must be replaced by spring 2009.

As of this month, FAST driver applications can be completed online using a system called GOES, which allows personal FAST information to be updated via the Web.

Driver can access GOES by clicking here. Registering for the program is free.

CBP recommends GOES for New FAST applications and renewals, but drivers may still apply or renew by mail. No cards will be printed at any enrollment center, however.

By March 2009, current U.S.-Canada FAST drivers will begin receiving replacement FAST cards at the address on file with the program.
