FleetNet, T-Chek team up on outsouring deal

CHERRYVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 18, 2000) — FleetNet America, the contract maintenance unit of Arkansas Best Corp., reached an agreement to provide roadside and preventative maintenance to customers of T-Chek Systems.

Fleets that use T-Chek cards and services will have access to FleetNet services via their T-Chek account.

The ability of a fleet to have one integrated source for maintenance promised to reduce costs and increase productivity, said FleetNet president and CEO Oren Summer.

FleetNet America is one of North America’s largest independent road breakdown management companies, with customers in the United States and Canada.

T-Chek Systems is a leading provider of payment and information services to the transportation industry, including fuel and cash, management, fuel tax and regulatory compliance, freight payment, fuel management, online information services, e-business solutions, data capture and financial reporting services.
