TORONTO, Ont. — Truckers who specialize in hauling food will have an opportunity to show their skills at the 11th Annual Truck Driving Championships Sept. 7 and 8.

The event, being held at the Toronto Congress Centre, will pit drivers from all over country against each other, with a grand prize of $500 and a chance to represent Canada in the North American competition in Houston, Texas being awarded.

The competition is limited to 60 drivers, so organizers are encouraging truckers to sign up quickly. Registration is $150 before June 30, and more information can be obtained by calling 416-510-8024, ext. 2253.
