HOLLAND, Mich. (Nov. 21, 2003) — The Holland Group — a global supplier of vehicle coupling and lift and suspension system products to the heavy-duty trucking industry — has announced the appointments of former Volvo Trucks Canada president Michael O’Connell as Truck OEM Sales director for Holland USA, and Gary J. Schultz to the position of vice-president and director of the head office’s Truck/Bus Suspension Product Management Team.

Other than Volvo Trucks Canada, O’Connell held senior management positions with Kenworth Truck in Montreal and sister Paccar company Peterbilt Motors in Chicago. His responsibilities with Holland will be to manage all sales efforts to major truck OEMs.

Schultz’s main responsibilities will be to direct and execute the global marketing and engineering efforts for the Truck/Bus Suspension product team. He has 33 years of heavy truck industry experience, with his most recent assignment being the vice-president of Truck OEM Sales with Holland USA.
