Freightliner wants dealers to ASPIRE to greatness

PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 24, 2004) — Freightliner Trucks has introduced the ASPIRE Program for 2004, part of an ongoing company effort to recognize its dealers who provide best-in-class customer service and achieve high levels of performance in all aspects of their business.

All Freightliner Trucks dealers who have an assigned area of responsibility are eligible to participate. Top performers will receive exclusive ASPIRE Recognition Awards.

According to Mark Lampert, senior vice president of Freightliner Trucks, the program name is an acronym for Acknowledging Sales, Parts (and Service), Image and Relationship Excellence. “ASPIRE is about honoring the best of the best in the Freightliner dealer network,” Lampert said.

Qualifying criteria for ASPIRE awards relate to sales performance, service capabilities, parts inventory, financial performance and a wide range of other categories. “Freightliner Trucks looks forward to recognizing its top dealers by presenting the inaugural set of ASPIRE awards early next year,” Lampert said.

Freightliner Trucks is a division of Freightliner LLC — a division of DaimlerChrysler which also includes Sterling and Western Star truck brands.
