Group to host seminar on ‘legalities of logistics’

MARKHAM, Ont. (Nov. 19, 2002) — The Toronto chapter of the Canadian Association of Supply Chain & Logistics Management will host a seminar on the legalities of logistics — a review of the rights and potential liabilities of logistics and transport companies.

Topics to be covered include damage liability, contractual issues, and the latest trends in court decisions. The speaker is Steve Trumper of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, a leading Canadian business law firm.

The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Hilton Toronto Airport, 5875 Airport Road. Registration and reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the speaker presentation at 7:30 p.m. The price is $90 plus GST ($65 plus GST for SCL members).
