by Truck News

LEVIS, Que. – Groupe Transrapide held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new commercial project in Levis this week.

The new building, called Complexe Transrapide, represents an investment of $5 million for the company. It is set to be 35,000 sq-ft in total and completed by December 2015.

“Groupe Transrapide, working in the field of transport, continues its growth in North America. The Complexe Transrapide will meet the business needs by providing loading docks, plenty of parking spaces for trailers, a maintenance garage and administrative offices on site, which is currently not the case”, s. Stephan Huot, owner of Groupe Transrapid.

The company said the groundbreaking event coincided with National Trucking Week purposely in order to announce the creation of new jobs for drivers, mechanics and dispatchers.
