Have bacon and eggs with Freightliner boss at Truck World kick-off breakfast

TORONTO — Chris Patterson, president and CEO of Freightliner LLC, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the opening VIP Breakfast at Truck World 2006.

Truck World, Canada’s largest exhibition of commercial trucks and equipment, is owned and operated by NewCom Business Media — the publisher of Today’s Trucking, TodaysTrucking.com, highwaySTAR, Truck & Trailer, and Transport Routier magazines.

In his position, Mr. Patterson provides the vision and direction for DaimlerChrysler’s NAFTA Truck Operations, a $16 billion company, and all of its affiliated companies — including Freightliner Trucks, Sterling Trucks, Western Star Trucks, Thomas Built Buses, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, Detroit Diesel Corporation, and Axle Alliance Company.

The VIP Breakfast kicks off Truck World 2006 — a three-day event that will feature new products and technology, workshops, a career awareness recruitment program, glamorous show trucks, demonstrations, the latest new truck offerings, technologies, equipment and services.

Truck World 2006 will roll into the International Centre, Toronto, on April 20, 21 and 22, 2006 with 300,000 square feet of exhibit space, more than 400 exhibitors, and 20,000 anticipated attendees. The VIP Breakfast takes place Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 8:00 am at the International Centre, Toronto.

Truck World has been named one of Canada’s 10 largest shows by Tradeshow Week Magazine.
