How the Grinch stole the Bell family Christmas

THUNDER BAY, Ont. — While Tenold Transportation O/O Leslie Bell was stopped in Thunder Bay there was one creature stirring around her rig, and they left after stealing her dog Ringo.

“The worst part is definitely the kids, last night they said, ‘Mom, can we just cancel Christmas this year?'” says the dismayed owner/op. “I don’t know what we’re going to, even the cop just said, ‘Good luck, but I can’t really help.'”

Ringo is a tan/pecan colored pitbull-cross whose eyes are two different shades of brown. His back reportedly looks, “like he was sprayed with pepper.”

“He’s got a full tail and the tip of it looks like it was dipped in an inkwell,” says an emotional Bell. “He was wearing a burgundy harness and had a blue vaccination tag.”

Anyone who thinks they’ve met up with Ringo and his abductor on the highway is asked to call Bell at 403-615-5183 or Tenold’s head dispatcher, Sterling, at 877-884-0094.
