Hwy. 101 to be blasted

HALIFAX, N.S. — Truck drivers planning to take Highway 101 between Halifax and Windsor this afternoon may want to consider using Trunk 1 instead.

Crews working on the twinning project are blasting rock near the railway overpass at Stillwater, Hants Co., and cleanup may take a bit longer than usual.

Most waiting times are about 10 minutes, but today’s blasting could cause a longer delay. Blasting could occur anytime between 2 and 3:30 p.m.
