Improving financial performance with a phone call

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Boosting company profits may only be a phone call away thanks to an audio conference being offered by the Truckload Carriers Association’s Truckload Academy.

The conference — “Pennies, Nickels, and Dimes Make All The Difference!” — will offer tips on how to improve profits and reduce operating ratios; review critical measures with an effect on bottom line; and how to eliminate waste in day-to-day operations.

The conference will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, from noon to 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). A phone is all that is needed to access the call. When using a speakerphone, as many individuals as desired can listen and participate for the same rate. Individuals also have the ability to ask questions during the conference making it interactive.

The registration fee is $129.00 per site for TCA members or $159.00 per site for TCA non-members. To register go to the TLA Web site, www.truckloadacademy.org, and click on “Events”. For further information contact Virginia DeRoze at TCA 703-838-1950 or via email at vderoze@truckload.org.
