NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ont. — The most spectacular truck and trailer graphics were showcased at the Private Motor Truck Councils (PMTCs) annual conference last week as part of the PMTC/3M Canada Vehicle Graphic Design Awards.

This year marked the 22nd year of the colourful awards program. Awards were presented in six categories. They were open to all fleets across Canada private or for-hire.

In the Tractor/Trailer Combination category, Cadbury Adams Canada took top prize with Saputo Inc./Armstrong Cheese placing second. An honourable mention went to Molson Canada.

Among straight trucks, Elmora Farm Service was the winner with Okanagan Springs Brewery taking second place and Moo Cow Distributing receiving an honourable mention.

In the Special Events/Promotion category, Sylvite Transportation Group was the winner with Molson Canada placing second and an honourable mention being awarded to Brick Brewery.

Praxair Canada was the winner of the Night-Time Safety award for its well lit-up tanker truck and trailer.

In the Light-Duty Commercial Truck category, Knapp Fasteners was the winner, followed by TireMaxx. An honourable mention went to Bloomers Florist.

In the Identity Fleet Graphics, RoadStar was the winner followed by Marvin Windows. Transport Bernieres received an honourable mention in this category.
