Inland Kenworth named top Kenworth dealer

KIRKLAND, Wash. (Feb. 12, 2003) — Inland Kenworth was named 2002 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada recently during the annual Kenworth dealer meeting in SeaTac, Wash.

The award recognizes excellence in sales, customer service, and support after-the-sale.

“It’s a great privilege to win this honor as Kenworth’s top dealer, especially considering the number of outstanding Kenworth dealerships in the U.S. and Canada,” said Jim Beiderwieden, chief operating officer of Inland Kenworth.

The Inland Kenworth Group operates 22 branches: 15 in British Columbia, one in the Yukon Territory, and six in the Western United States. It is the sole Kenworth dealer for British Columbia, along with being distributor for Case Construction Equipment, Linkbelt, Terex Articulated Trucks, and Tigercat Forestry and Logging Equipment.

Other finalists for the award were Kenworth Montreal, Montreal; Colorado Kenworth, Denver; Tri-State Kenworth, Enfield, Conn.; and Wallwork Kenworth, Fargo, N.D. All were named Gold Award winners for 2002.

Kenworth also recognized several Silver Award winners, including Kenworth Quebec in Quebec City.

Kenworth, a division of PACCAR, produces heavy- and medium-duty trucks.
