CHICAGO, Ill. — International Truck and Engine Corp. has named Ann Farrell vice-president of purchasing and supplier development.

Farrell, 43, succeeds Howard Levy, who left International for a position with CSX Corp. in Jacksonville, Fla. Most recently, Farrell served as the director of the value-based variation initiative, a successful program designed to drive unnecessary complexity out of new International products while enhancing customer focus to give truck-buyers more of what they value.
