CRESCENT VALLEY, B.C. — A deadly intersection will be improved this year, to reduce the number of accidents that have occurred there.

The Crescent Valley intersection of Hwy. 6 and Pass Creek Road has seen 30 accidents since 1987, which is seven times higher than the provincial average.

About 3,800 motorists pass through the area each day.

Local officials will be meeting with the public in upcoming weeks to discuss possible solutions and hear concerns from residents and drivers.
