Iowa 80 Group will match donations for victims

WALCOTT, IA — Iowa Group 80 announced they will collect donations for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and the New York Fire 9-1-1 Relief fund at all their group locations.

The initiative to aid those affected by Tuesday’s terrorist attacks begins today.

“We have all been struck by this tragedy and felt a need to give our employees and customers a channel through which to donate to the disaster relief efforts on the East Coast,” says Will Moon, Iowa 80 Group president. In addition to collecting donations, Moon has pledged Iowa Group 80, Inc. will match 100 per cent of the first $30,000 donated at Iowa 80 Group locations from Sept. 14 to 21, 2001.

Group locations include: Iowa Truckstop, Walcott, Iowa; Oak Grove Petro, Oak Grove, Mo.; Joplin Petro, Joplin, Mo.; Iowa80.com/Catalog Sales, Walcott, Iowa; CAT Scale Company, Walcott, Iowa and Truckomat locations in Little Rock, Arkansas; Effingham, Ill.; South Holland, Ill.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Walcott, Iowa; Joplin, Mo.; Oak Grove, Mo.; Hebron, Ohio; Oklahoma city, Oklahoma and Laredo, Texas.
