J.J. Keller says, Take the challenge

J.J. Keller
When you turn down the lights in the video room, often it’s lights-out with your audience. J..J. Keller’s Hazard Perception Challenge is a training video that’s designed to keep drivers engaged because it plays like a game. It teaches driver alertness through a series of mishaps or near-misses each followed by a “what-did-you-see/what-did-you-do” quiz.

The 60-minute video has 30 different scenarios you can present in either “continous play” or “stop-and-discuss” segments. Topics cover highway driving, extreme-weather driving, night driving, city driving, and backing. A trainer’s guide has the answers to the encounter scenarios and 10 test sheets for drivers to fill in their answers to the on-screen questions. A follow-up video, Hazardous Perception Challenge II, builds on the original, adding a security component. Cost: $199 US. You can order online at www.jjkeller.com, or by calling 1-877/564-2333.
