KW aftermarket operation achieves ISO 9002

KIRKLAND, Wash. (Nov. 16, 1999) — Kenworth Truck Co.’s aftermarket parts operation in the United States and Canada has achieved ISO 9002 certification.

“The focus of ISO certification is on improving job tasks and processes to provide unsurpassed customer satisfaction, premium value, and superior quality in parts acquisition and distribution,” said Dave Clarke, who directs Kenworth’s aftermarket parts organization.

Using quality standards established by the International Standards Organization (ISO), Kenworth said its aftermarket parts distribution efforts were measured for their efficiency and accuracy in getting parts to customers via the Kenworth dealer network.
