Livestock group to hold first meeting in March

RED DEER, Alta. — The Livestock Transportation Association of North America (LTANA) will meet for the first time Mar. 12 at the Red Deer Lodge.

Participants will help map out a direction for the newly-formed association, and a board of directors will be selected. Memberships will be accepted as well, and the group will discuss ways in which to raise seed money.

The inaugural meeting will take place at 10 a.m., and more information can be obtained by calling Tim O’Byrne at 403-577-3266. Or, call Mayne Root at the Alberta Motor Transport Association, at 403-243-4161, ext. 313. There is no fee involved, and all livestock haulers are encouraged to attend.
