LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. — Mack has signed a tentative deal with the United Auto Workers (UAW) on terms of a new master contract that would cover approximately 3,700 Mack workers in four states.

Further comment about the proposed master contract is being withheld pending ratification by the various bargaining units due to the vast region to be covered by the proposed agreement. The ratification meetings are currently being scheduled by the UAW.

The tentative deal covers members of UAW local #677 in Allentown, Macungie, and Middletown, Pa.; #171 and #1247 in Hagerstown, Md.; #2301 in Baltimore, Md.; #5841 in Winnsboro, S.C.; and #472 in Atlanta, Ga.
