SAINT-GEORGES, Que. (March 18, 2004) — Trailer maker Manac Inc. has signed what it calls one of the largest contracts in its history with S.L.H. Transport of Kingston, Ont.

The $15 million deal includes the manufacturing of 600 53-foot prepainted aluminum vans with tandem air-ride axles.

Deliveries are scheduled to take place between May and August 2004, and the order will bring Manac’s Saint-Georges plant to full capacity during the next few weeks and will result
in the rehiring of 55 employees.
