Manitoba approving use of roll tarp equipment

WINNIPEG, Man. — The use of roll tarp equipment is soon to be permitted in Manitoba, according to an announcement by Transportation and Government Services Minister Steve Ashton.

Although the proposal must still go through the legislative process, blanket permits are currently being issued by the department’s permit office.

This news comes after premature reports of a similar go-ahead came out earlier this year.
