NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems has unveiled its new System Saver 1800 air dryer at the TMC Transportation Equipment Expo in Nashville.

The air dryer, designed for fleets and owner-operators with applications requiring a higher air brake system drying capacity, provides 15 to 30 per cent more drying capacity for heavy-duty applications. It is ideal for heavy truck and vocational applications.

Dennis L. Sandberg, president of Meritor WABCO Vehicle Systems, says, “The introduction of this new air dryer allows us to broaden our reach with a single-cartridge design. It is ideal for applications where increased drying capacity and extended cartridge life are needed.”

Other benefits offered by the System Saver 1800 include easy installation, low maintenance and excellent protection against moisture and air system contamination.
