MGM to demonstrate e-STROKE at MATS

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — MGM Brakes has announced it will be featuring its e-STROKE brake check system at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) Mar. 21 to 23.

The e-STROKE system enables service personnel and O/Os to conduct quick and accurate brake stroke status checks. This is done through the use of sensors, which are factory pre-installed and pre-calibrated.

A chassis communications module monitors the signals and outputs wheel-specific blink codes that reveal whether a brake chamber is experiencing normal stroke or overstroke. The system can also identify dragging brakes.

MGM says the e-STROKE system makes the unpleasant task of checking brake stroke much easier and it eliminates the need to crawl underneath the vehicle to determine stroke status. The company also claims the product will improve truck safety, as maintenance can be performed in a more timely manner.

MGM encourages visitors to MATS to stop by their booth #3135 for a full working demonstration.
