WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) says registration is now open for its 2001 Convention, E-Commerce and Truck Transportation, which will be held here at the Fairmont.

The event’s theme has been built around two business sessions relating to the impact of E-commerce on trucking, which will take place during the Apr. 5-7 festivities.

In addition, climatologist Dr. Tim Ball will deliver a keynote address on his area of expertise, the reconstruction of past climates and the impact of climate change on human history. A host of award presentations and a complete spousal program will round out the event.

For more information, contact Bob Wilks at the MTA office by phoning 204-632-6600.
