WRIGLEY, N.W.T. — Tribal leaders of the only aboriginal group yet to endorse the Mackenzie Valley gas pipeline will gather here to discuss how they want to be involved in northern energy development.
The leaders represent four Deh Cho communities that would be most affected by the pipeline are in the area around Fort Simpson, west of Great Slave Lake.
Under the terms of the current agreement reached between aboriginal negotiators and gas producers, signatories will share a one-third stake in the project.
