PORCUPINE, Ont. — Highway delays will be minimal in the immediate Timmins, Ont. area although the Ministry of Transportation plans to replace the Porcupine River bridge, east on Hwy. 101.

West on the same highway is clear until the resurfacing of 10.9 kilometres around the turn off to Horwood Lake, before Foleyet.

Farther afield, Hwy. 66 is being resurfaced near Matachewan and the bridge over the Lost River near Harty is being replaced.

Also planned for this construction season is the complete replacement of the Hwy. 560 road bed to the west of Goganda, the last piece of the upgrade between Hwy.s 144 and 11.
