New Brunswick expands farm truck registration

FREDERICTON (April 17, 2000) — Farmers in New Brunswick will now be allowed to register up to 12 farm trucks at reduced fees. Previously, farmers could only register two trucks.

Registration fees will remain at the same rate: 50% of the equivalent commercial truck registration rate. The change in the limit is effective April 1, 2000 and will be of particular benefit to potato farmers who have a need for a large numbers of trucks during the course of their operations.
