Chicago Rawhide’s CR Hubodometer is a heavy-duty tool that the company calls a “foolproof” method for tracking scheduled maintenance and safety inspections and documenting distance-related warranties on tires, batteries, brakes, and other components.

Completely mechanical, the Hubodometer contains no wiring or complicated programming. Offering a full range of gear ratios to match virtually any tire spec, it counts upward in forward or reverse and can be mounted on either side of the truck. The company says the gas-sealed unit is airtight, and waterproof to handle extreme service and salt-spray requirements, and can handle temperatures ranging from -40 degrees F to 180 degrees F.

Each Hubodometer, which combines easily to a CR Scotseal Hubcap, is individually serial numbered for ease of tracking. It uses a standard 1/2-inch-20 mounting stud, and the company offers a full range of mounting brackets and accessories to adapt to any application. The company also backs the unit with a 700,000 km warranty.
