WOODSTOCK, N.B. — New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) Woodstock is launching a new transportation management program this fall.

“Considering its location and experience with the transportation industry, NBCC Woodstock provides the perfect setting for the new 80-week Transportation Management program,” says Training and Development Minister, Norman McFarlane. “I am pleased that this program will provide skilled employees to this industry which further emphasizes our commitment to provide the right skills for the right jobs in the right balance in our province.”

The tuition for the program is $2,400 per year with the first run beginning in this September.

The new course will be a welcome addition to the current directory of programs, which also includes a 40-week Transportation Operations program, explains Joy Dion, principal of NBCC Woodstock.

“Given the tremendous growth of the transportation industry and the employment opportunities available, I encourage individuals who are interested in becoming a part of this dynamic industry to consider this program,” she says.

For more information contact the college at (506) 325-4400 or visit www.woodstock.nbcc.nb.ca.
