STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — NEXIQ Technologies says First Fleet Corp. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has selected the company’s eTechnician telematics service.

Enhancing mobile asset management capabilities for its leased vehicle customers, eTechnician will enable First Fleet to provide its customers with real-time remote diagnostics and comprehensive fuel management capabilities, as well as other value-added services.

These enhanced vehicle management capabilities will help First Fleet customers realize lower life-cycle costs and improved operational control over their leased mobile assets.

NEXIQ Technologies president and chief operating officer, Jack Schang, emphasizes the importance of this new eTechnician agreement.

“We’re delighted that a leading customer-focused vehicle leasing firm has selected NEXIQ Technologies to help drive greater operating efficiencies to their customers,” he says.

“This underscores the industry-wide enthusiasm for the commercial vehicle management capabilities that eTechnician delivers.”
