WASHINGTON, D.C. — The preliminary program for the first international natural gas vehicle (NGV) conference to be held in the U.S. is now available.

World NVG2002 will convene in Washington on October 8-10.

NVGs: Clean Transportation for a Liveable World is the theme for World NVG2002, the 8th International NGV Conference and Exhibition, because it reflects the Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition’s (NGVC) global vision in a world where pollution knows no boundaries.

World NGV2002 is a three-day conference designed to provide the latest information on NGV activity in countries around the world, vehicle fueling technology, as well as policies and strategies for sustainable commercial success. The exhibition will feature more than 40,000 square feet of equipment and services available worldwide.

Co-hosted by the NGVC and the International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles (IANGV), the World NGV2002 will be held in conjunction with the NGVC’s 20th National NGV Conference.

The preliminary program is available on the NGVC Web site at http://www.ngvc.org/ngv/ngvc.nsf/bytitle/ngv2002.html.
