NIGHT SKY GLOWS IN SOUTHERN ONTARIO

WOODSTOCK, Ont. — No, you’re not seeing signs of a UFO, and this doesn’t mean you’ve been driving too long; the night sky on Hwy. 401 near here is actually glowing.

Calgary-based Shiningbank Energy has begun drilling a natural gas well not far from the highway near Woodstock, Ont.

The drilling platform is brightly lit and the company has warned that gas flares may be seen shooting into the night sky between Feb. 16 and Feb. 20.
