As well, awards will be handed out for “Excellence,” Lifetime Achievement, and Valour.

The awards will be given at a breakfast event held May 30 at the Triumph Howard Johnson Plaza in Toronto.

National Transportation Week, in recognition of the industry which often operates away from the spotlight, runs June 1 to June 9.

Transportation industry representation at the breakfast will include people from Toronto Transit Commission and GO Transit; Transport Canada; the Ontario Motor Coach Association and the Ontario School Bus Association, as well as the Ontario Trucking Association.
