NRCan to broadcast FleetSmart cab heater event over the web Nov. 20
OTTAWA (Nov. 15, 2002) — Natural Resources Canada is hosting a free one-day workshop on cab heaters Nov. 20 at the Irving Big Stop in Pembroke, Ont.
The event, which begins at 10:30 a.m., will be broadcast over the Internet at oee.nrcan.gc.ca/fleetsmart.
The program on cab heaters is part of Natural Resources Canada’s FleetSmart initiative, managed by the Office of Energy Efficiency. FleetSmart promotes fuel economy through better driving techniques and idle reduction.
Wednesday’s event will be delivered by several makers of cab heating systems.
The FleetSmart web site has a test area to help you set up your browser to receive the Nov. 20 transmission.
