OSHAWA, Ont. — Over the weekend, the National Truckers Association (NTA) decided it will open up its top positions in the coming months.

“Our year end is the last day of January and (our) election of officers will be held (after that),” says Bill Wellman, president of the NTA, which is the Ontario branch of the National Truckers Alliance of Canada (NTAC).

“All offices of the association are open for nominations, which should be received by Feb. 28 and the date for the election will be announced at the time.”
