OTA TAKES THE RISK OUT OF HR

TORONTO, Ont. — Human resources-related problems can cost a fleet its chance at profitability; Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) will try and clear up some HR-related issue with a new seminar.

With two dates to choose from, Apr. 18 or 23, the full day seminar is entitled Taking the Risk Out of Hiring and Firing. The cost to members $395 and an extra $100 will be charged to all others.

John D. Douma & Associates will present a hands-on, “workshop style” seminar, which will be led by an experienced human resources consultant and lawyer. Attendance is limited to no more that 20 participants per session to allow for individual attention.
