OTA to host industry meeting with Pan Am officials

by Truck News

TORONTO, Ont. – With just a few weeks left to go before Pan Am Games officially kick off, the Ontario Trucking Association along with the Ministry of Transportation have been busy answering questions about the impact the Games will have on freight delivery.

Though the OTA and the Ministry have been doing their best to answer these questions, many participants in the movement of freight have outstanding issues they want to discuss. To address these issues, senior Pan Am and MTO officials will be at OTA (555 Dixon Road, Toronto, ON M9W 1H8) on Friday June 26 at 10 a.m. to explain publicly what has been prepared for the freight sector and to hear and answer any other outstanding questions or needs carriers have.

The OTA says this will likely be the last opportunity for members of the industry to have their questions answered by senior representatives of the games.

All OTA members and non-members are welcome to attend the event with registration. The meeting will go from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and lunch will be served afterwards.

To register email the OTA’s Lak Shoan at lak.shoan@ontruck.org your name, title, company and contact information.
