Peace Bridge Re-Opened to Truck Traffic

FORT ERIE, ON — Peace Bridge authority confirmed that the bridge at Fort Erie – Buffalo re-opened to truck traffic on Wednesday at 5:30 a.m.

Bridge authorities did not allow trucks access beyond the bridge plaza Tuesday night because all interchanges to the I-190 were closed overnight due to extreme weather conditions.

What’s more, there was no available parking at the customs plaza, so trucks approaching the bridge from the Canadian side were being turned around and instructed to head back to the QEW.
