DALLAS, Tex. — PeopleNet Communications has made its g2x system compatible with Innovative Computing Corporation’s (ICC) software package.

The announcement was made at a luncheon at the Innovative Conference and Exhibition Wednesday, in Dallas, Texas.

Brian McLaughlin, PeopleNet’s director of marketing, says the move was customer-driven and ICC customers will now be able to combine the most advanced mobile communications technology with their Innovative software.

The announcement also came with a limited time offer for ICC customers that will allow them to obtain the base unit, message display, keyboard, 250 transactions, free over the air programming and free installation and training for US$69 per month.

This announcement comes on the heels of PeopleNet’s recent Canadian victories with MacKinnon Transport and Coastal Pacific Xpress now under using its technology.
