MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — PeopleNet Communications and Profit Tools, a software company providing business, operations and e-commerce solutions, have formed an integration partnership.

The agreement links PeopleNet’s fleet tracking and mobile communications with Profit Tool’s dispatch software, thus enabling users to seamlessly move from one system to the other.

“A PeopleNet/Profit Tools integration makes both systems more valuable to customers,” says PeopleNet Communications director of integration Mike Driggers. “It’s a win-win situation when we can work together to make our customers’ jobs easier and their businesses more successful.”

Through the integration, dispatchers using Profit Tools software can send itineraries to drivers via PeopleNet’s Intouch Fleet Management system. What’s more, drivers can respond to dispatchers and confirm load pick-ups and deliveries, information that can in turn be shared with fleet customers.
