LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Peterbilt has partnered with Heil Environmental Industries to provide customers with fast order-to-delivery turnaround times for truck and dump body combinations.

The integrated body program allows customers to visit the local Pete dealer to order not only the truck chassis that suits their needs but also the corresponding Heil dump box.

“Our dealers will assist customers with spec’ing the complete truck,” says Nick Panza, general manager and Paccar vice-president. “They’ll be able to quickly add to their fleet when ground is about to be broken.”

For many fleets currently running dumps, the time between a contract being awarded and the start of construction is short. The ability to acquire a complete, ready-to-work piece of equipment at a competitive price is what fueled the program, adds Panza.

Peterbilt dealers have been specially trained and equipped to help customers spec a chassis and dump body configuration that best meets application and geographic requirements, including weight distribution and bridge laws, according to the company.
