NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ont. — Some of the flashiest, snazziest and most creative truck and trailer graphics were highlighted at the recent Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) annual general meeting on Friday.

The 2006 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards, sponsored by PMTC and 3M Canada, are handed out in six categories. Both private and for-hire fleets are eligible to enter the competition.

This year’s winners were: Neilson Dairy and Loblaw Companies, tractor-trailer combination; Fraisbec and Snugglers Furniture, straight truck; Molson and Muskoka Transport, special events/promotion; Prairie Driver Training and Trailcon Leasing, night-time safety; Assiniboine Zoo and Kitchener Utilities, light-duty commercial truck; and Kriska and Roadline Transportation, identity fleet graphics.

The August issue of Truck News will feature photos of some of the winning entries.
