NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ONT. — The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada announced its incoming Board of Directors for the coming term during its 28th annual conference in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. June 17.

The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada is the only national association representing the interests of private fleet operators. The Council was incorporated in 1975 and works with governments on issues affecting private carriers, and delivers information to its members through an extensive network of communications material, including educational seminars, newsletters, and electronic bulletins.

PMTC’s goals are to promote the safe and economic use of private trucking, to promote regulations that are beneficial to private fleet operators, and to be a primary source of information for its members.
