NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ont. — The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada’s annual conference is set for June 17-18 at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.

The conference committee has arranged for an exciting line-up of speakers and educational seminars, a facility tour of a state of the art distribution centre, lots of entertainment, and of course, the annual PMTC awards luncheon.

It will include an update on Ontario’s Hours of Service and Trip Inspection policies; an eye-opening seminar entitled ‘Developing an Award Winning Professional Driver Team’ that is full of ideas for getting the best out of the single most important part of your fleet activities; an examination of the Six Sigma philosophy and the first-hand experience of a fleet manager describing its benefits; and a very special speaker for our President’s Breakfast, Harry J. Haney III, Associate Director Transportation Operations for Kraft Foods Inc.

There are spousal activities planned in and around Niagara-on-the-Lake and an evening of fine dining combined with great music from Juno and Maple Blues awards winner Jack de Keyzer.

For more information, call 877-501-PMTC.
