BOCA RATON, Fla. — A Canadian serving time in Florida for sexual assault is being questioned by Canadian police about incidents here, which were featured in the September issue of Truck News.

Two detectives from Quebec City and two from Toronto flew to Boca Raton earlier this week to interrogate 39-year-old truck driver David Cote.

He was sentenced last November to seven years in prison for the attempted sexual assault of a jogger.

A source within the Toronto Police Service’s Sexual Assault Squad confirms police wanted to talk to him about sexual assaults on teenagers in Scott, Que., Quebec City, and Toronto in 2000.
