NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C. — Lyna Manufacturing has announced its new SMILE program for fleet trucking in North America.

The preventive maintenance initiative focuses on preventing loss of pressure in tires, which in turn reduces tire blowouts and increases fuel efficiency. This program will be of tremendous value to owner operators and fleet managers, the company insists.

“We are using our expertise, which has developed over years of extensive field testing carried out by government and commercial fleets, who are now customers,” says Noorez Devraj, president. “The test results confirm that Tire Lyna significantly reduces tire wear, downtime, and improves fuel savings.”

The main goal of this company was to explore the feasibility of developing a tire and rim preventative maintenance formula, which would stop air migration from high-speed commercial tires.

Research and development ultimately proved very successful, adds Devraj, in developing a product which saves transport and equipment operators many thousands of dollars each year in downtime, tire and fuel costs.

Lyna Manufacturing supplies fleets throughout the world. For more information visit the Web site at www.lyna.com.
