Raydan expands operations

EDMONTON, (July 21, 2004) — Raydan Manufacturing will expand their chassis modification division in Edmonton, as well as open of a new tandemization facility, the company announced.

The company says it has seen significant increase in the demand for tandemizations and modifications, as well as accelerated growth in our manufacturing division, and growing popularity of its proprietary Air Link(TM) suspension system.

As a result, the company says it’s reached maximum operating capacity at its Nisku facility and is constructing a 12,000 square-foot building on its present site to go along with a smaller 6,000 square-foot facility the company recently acquired.

“Raydan has received an enthusiastic response to the Air Link(TM) air ride walking beam suspension for tandem steer since we released it to the US and Canadian markets,” said Ray English, President and CEO at Raydan. “As a result, we have tandemization projects booked through October. The demand for tandem vocational trucks is continually growing in a wide variety of applications, including oilfield service, redi-mix, and refuse, and we intend to ensure that Raydan continues to meet this growing interest.”
