Registration open for OTA’s cross-border symposium

by Truck News

TORONTO, Ont. – Thanks in part to the Beyond the Borders Action Plan, several initiatives have been put in place to improve cross-border processes in last few years. To explore the affect recent cross-border initiatives have had on the highway the OTA is holding an all-day symposium titled “Building Bridges: The 21st Century Can-Am Border.”

The day will consist of a series of seminars run by The Privy Council Office, the Canada Border Services Agency, the US Customs and Border Protection and a highway carrier panel. Lunch will be provided and there will also be a Q&A portion at the end of the day.

The symposium is scheduled for April 29, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the International Plaza Hotel (655 Dixon Road) in Toronto.
