REGINA, Sask. — More repaving is in the works on Saskatchewan’s ailing roads, and the latest to receive attention is Hwy. 7.

A 9.8 kilometre stretch of the highway will be repaved, between the Hwy. 317 junction and the Alberta border.

The roadwork will begin this week and will continue until the end of May.

"The department is working hard to revitalize our highway network," said Highways and Transportation Minister, Pat Atkinson. "Highway 7 is a busy route that requires needed repairs this construction season."
